MEDIEVAL TIMES

Ghent people know and worship him: the muse of our third BAVET in Ghent is none other than Daniël Termont! The iconic politician and former mayor of this beautiful city with medieval elements everywhere you look, is one of the main reasons why Ghent is still such a success today and why we’re able to have our spaghetti at the historical terrace near the Graslei (and not too far from ‘t Gravensteen!). All that’s missing is a bard singing of Daniël’s accomplishments in our restaurant. Tavern. Wait, is it too late to still do that?

“I am proudest of the positive atmosphere and mentality I have created.” – Daniël Termont

BAVET nods vehemently.
